Meshchera Fitness Center

The Project

Nizhny Novgorod sits roughly 400 miles east of Moscow. The city is expanding, and demand for fitness facilities has grown along with its population. This fitness center was designed for the high-tech generations that enjoy plugging in and escaping the daily grind.

The club's family-oriented spaces include a kids' area, family changing rooms, and a splash pad in the pool area. Adults can enjoy the grand open floor area with cardio, strength training, free weights, and stretching. The center also houses two group exercise rooms, a yoga room, a cycling studio, and a boxing ring.

Design work started in April 2011 and construction was completed one year later.
